This project involved updating the branding of this church and creating a fresh and modern look using the visual elements that were already there, and then working this into existing church material.
The original logo used three strong colours to create a bold contrast and cross imagery to emphasise the importance of Jesus Christ as the cornerstone of the church. However, the hierarchy of the logo and the double use of cross imagery created a confusing logo with marginal balance.
The essential elements of the logo I combined into an icon which I wanted to be as simple as possible. I then expanded this out into a finished logo which could be used on screen and print medium.
